Luv those Liberators
I had a 211 for 7 years. Mine was black and grey with mustard yellow stripes that I changed to teal , whatta difference. Was a 460 King Cobra but the last few years with a 540 Ford .
What a beast...faaaast and handled the power very well. No GPS at the time but could easily bury the 80mph speedo

I was very surprised at how well it responded to the new power. I love how it rides. Handles the water extremely well, and loves to get air!
How are the Scarabs in the 24 - 26 foot range?

I had a friend with a Four Winds Liberator in the late 80's, it ran well in big water. Its nice to see another Long Islander.... Im from the South Shore, and try and boat mostly in the ocean, but I've been in the sound a bunch and launched at Hempstead Harbor, or at that ramp by LaMottas, Is it Manorhaven?? That water can be Nasty!!!
