Exactly my question???

Dave1972 01-13-2004 10:43 AM

Wow...it looks like they are shooting at a farmer in a field with a tractor? Hmmm.....either way....glad I'm not on the receiving end. And how did that guy under the truck survive the first blast? I guess it's all for not on the 2nd round though. WOW!

Shane 01-13-2004 10:46 AM

Note: in center of pic you'll see several people stanind around what looks like a pipe. Follow that pipe to the left. It's what's left of the tanks turret after it was blown 100' in the air and impacted the ground.

A friend sent it to me. I'm not sure where it is taking place. I would assume it is either Iraq or Afghanistan footage.

See Chicago Case Co. for all your gun case needs.

Chris288 01-13-2004 01:42 PM

watch the bullett count on the bottom right side, they didn't use very many rounds, but they sure messed those dudes up..

CJC 01-13-2004 01:46 PM

Civilian soldiers in Iraq

That footage was shown on the news Sunday night. The guy in the little pick up truck dropped a weapon (supposedly a surface-air/grenade launcher) near the tractor looking thing. Look at the second guy that gets blasted. Just before he gets it, he is taking the cover off the launcher......... never even got it to his shoulder. ;)

The rest of them got it just for hanging out with the wrong crowd I guess.

News aired it trying to bash the way troops are "selecting" their targets.

I don't think were going deer hunting with it.

Targeting works for me!

Cash Bar 01-13-2004 01:49 PM

CNN was running that the other day. Questioning the firing without provocation and firing on a wounded person. It was in IRAQ. The men were hiding RPG's in a field.

CNN's military analyst(love ex-generals) said they were erasing the possibility of a future threat and were completely justified. I couldn't agree more. He did say automatic CANNON fire may have been overkill, but it was the smallest weapon an Apache has.;)

MitchStellin 01-13-2004 01:52 PM

I LOVE it, "look for movement" "yea, I think I saw something" TAKE THEM OUT. I like it when he asked if he saw movement and when he did he said GOOD.:D These guys live to use live rounds.

Gary Anderson 01-13-2004 02:06 PM

"Questioning the firing without provocation"
Blah, blah, blah blah. These people dont understand what war is. They're the same ones who critisize police for shooting to kill. I actually heard a radio talk show host advocating shooting the guy in the leg in the Philly police beating!
I'm more upset the helicopter didn't hit the target on the first burst. If the guys in the field had time to use an anti-aircraft missile, that miss could have been a deadly mistake.
Gary

simon johnston 01-13-2004 05:12 PM

the first guy gets it ...... say ... some 10 to 15 yards from the second guy blowing bits of him at his feet; at this point does he put his hands in the air OR continue to arm the RPG ???......if he had time would he have fired on the apache ??? I THINK SO........ now guy three ; if he had a second RPG or could have got to the first RPG what would he do ??? exchange phone numbers with them ..... and finally the ANALYST/ ex general what would he have done/ordered in that situation ???

MitchStellin 01-13-2004 05:22 PM

I also noticed that the operator did not go forward. Either the gun is off or the ricochet took out both of them. In either case these guys were shooting fish in a barrel:D Can you imagine the other two when the first was shot, they had to know they were out gunned no matter what they held. They failed, as they should.

Don't mess with the UNITED STATES of AMERICA!

rouxsterre 01-13-2004 11:21 PM

You gotta wonder - was there ANY way out for those idiots.
Complete darkness, you see your buddy get lit up BAD.
Next guy gets his, too. . . . OBLIVERATED.

I'd have been waving my sh!t-stained shorts on a stick.
The guy under the truck should have been diggin to China. . . . Like a gopher on crystal.

ToddW 01-14-2004 08:44 AM

The link is not working.

BLee 01-14-2004 08:50 AM

They must have moved it.

robyw1 01-14-2004 09:14 AM

I can't get it either. if anyone saved it e-mail it to me.

Roby

MitchStellin 01-14-2004 09:41 AM

I saved it at home and will send it to anyone. I will check when I get home and send them tonight. In a nut shell, one guy gets blown up so bad pieces of him fly 100 feet, you can see the warm shreads of human remains all over the place:D I just ordered a 30mm from E Bay, hope it comes, it is overseas and I sent 10,000 bucks so it better be here soon.

HiPerf2000 01-14-2004 10:06 AM

I saved it, but the file size is 4.7mb. most servers wont handle receiving an email that size, and will reject it.

Does anyone has a site i can upload it ??

imboating 01-14-2004 10:52 AM

:( I didn't get to see it either. If it is too big to e-mail, see if you can post it in the movies section, OSO.:eureka:

GregP 01-14-2004 11:44 AM

I don't have an upload site handy, but can accept at least up to 100Mb e-mails (I've gotten them before), so can you send a copy?

Thanks - Greg
