Phantom, That's a good deal. Doing it for the sport not the money.

We are not a profitable organization

and we do not charge a club membership fee
that has to be added to the 250 entry fee that scope charges

is that fee per person ?? or couple ?? or what???

The $250 fee is per boat. You could have a crew of 10 and it is all covered.

The annual club dues are $125......and this year with that you get a T-Shirt, two ProPack prop covers, a membership book (addresses, names, phone numbers and stuff), and a whole calender of events to do with a bunch of boatheads, friends and families.

Marc,
I know you put on a great event, and I don't question the effort and work behind it. I've chaired a few fund raisers myself so I know how much work you all must put in. I was just curious what the other poker runs cost. Maybe it is still to early in the season because the only post with a cost was the one in CA.

Each organizer has a different objective & it is certainly their right to set the priority and the fees. Your's seems to be charity driven and I am sure that is why it is expensive. I should probably think of SOTW as you would a charity golf outing, then you don't question costs, it's just about how much you raise. Make A Wish is a good cause, and I am sure they appreciate the run. I hope you have a great turn out.

Default poker run

Just got home from a meeting about the lake st clair
run, It looks like we should be able to hold the entry fee
around the same as last year.
Each events has there own built in cost that they must overcome.
Dont look at just the cost, look at the WHOLE EVENT.
people, prizes and the most important thing the hardware that show's up.
For all you OSO member going to Miami we should
have all the info there for you.

Thanks
Mike Raguso
