I'm sending out applications for our PR in the next week or so. The cost this year is $300 per hand. A "hand" includes 2 shirts, 2 lunches, awards banquet for 2 with live band, prizes, and video.
I'm very impressed by some of the offerings from other groups around the country. We're not fortunate enough to have huge sponsors kick in mega-bucks, so most costs are out of pocket. Hell, the banquet alone cost about $130 per hand for food, ballroom rental, and band cost. None the less, we were able to donate $7000 to our local Cancer Research Center last year (we're non-profit).
Keep up the great work people!!

This is the best value of any poker run in the country...all of the above mentioned perks for $250!!!! This event is completely 100% non profit...the real deal. Having fun and being safe is our number one priority...ask around and the message will be loud and clear!

I finally had a chance to read your post and look at the link, dang it but MrP said towing the boat from MI to CA is just to darn far
I wish I knew about this OS stuff when I was a young single pup living in Laguna Hills, looking at your pictures while there is a raging snow storm outside sure makes me daydream.

How about the OshkoshThunder Pokerrun, last years, entry fee was 375.00 for 2people and the boat, food served friday night, breakfast sat morning, your choice of steak or chicken sandwichs for lunch, then a sit down dinner which includes filet mignon along with two pullover fleeces, two polo shirts, a sport cooler that holds a 12 pack, and a monogramed blanket, plus a goody bag. Last year there were over 100 boats.

SPONSORS ARE THE KEY.WE BUST OUR A$$ RAISING MONEY FOR THE RUN. IT IS SO HARD TO GET COMPANIES TO DONATE. 99% OF OUR TIME GOES TO THIS. IT'S THE ONLY WAY YOU CAN PUT ON A GREAT SHOW!!! I RUN POKER RUNS FROM GREAT LAKES TO HAVASU ARIZONA TO FLORIDA. WE BASE OUR RUN ON ALL THE IDEAS I HAVE SEEN. THE RIGHT PRICE FOR WHAT YOU GET.LOTS OF FUN & GREAT PEOPLE. MY HAT'S OFF TO ANYONE THAT HOST'S ANY TYPE OF POKER RUN. MOST PEOPLE REALY DON'T KNOW THE WORK & TIME PUT INTO A POKER RUN. RON BENDER
