I really feel sorry for you southerners. Never to grab onto a sled and rail a frozen lake at 100 plus. You poor, poor folks. That and the friggin heat and humidity you have to deal with come july and august. No thanks. I'll stay where the snow flies and the flies and other pests freeze to death.

I'm getting tired of NY, would love to move to St. Pete, or somewhere on the west coats of Fl, but my wife , as much as she hates the cold and loves boating, would never go for it in a million years, all her family is up and around here.. But as someone mentioned, we boat from may-2nd week in nov. approx 6.5 months..

I froze my ass off for 36 years... finally headed south. I can always afford the "hitch" to go visit friends and go skiing..... now every winter morning I have to drag my ass out of bed and shovel 10 inches of sunshine off the driveway so I can make it to work..... And to all my friends up north that say....... " Don't you miss the seasons?"

I reply.... Southern California has four very distinct seasons................. Fire.............. Flood............ Earthquake............ and Riot! .............
