I honestly thought that I would be spending abotu $60k total for both drives

I am in sticker shock Now I know why all these boats are priced in the stratosphere

Transom assemblies are roughly $11,000 here and drives are listed at full retail.
I would figure $25,000 perside plus transmissions

I can work with $60k or lower...$100k would not be able to swing it

I clicked on the links that Hard On provided and saw the $16k per side price too but was told that there is more to it that that and transmissions...The BAMs are going to be about $3500-$4000 I was told.

Too Old is correct. Surface drives don't provide much bow lift and some boats tend to run "wet" with them.

105: the guy here doing my work is willing to sell me the trans at cost plus 50.00 just so he can turn some parts orders fo rthis month. I'm looking at the 1500hp models myself, will get an exact figure from him on monday with shipping if interested. The weismanns are about 25000.00 for all and they are in the process of running a batch. they will color match to any color and polish for 300.00 and caot them as well. waiting for more info from them heres a pic of the weismann.

I am supposed to recieve all the specs on monday from them and will post what they are for you. Said that they are made to dit over a 6's hole. They are also working on semiautomatic 2 speed trans to fit in place of the hubber trans spot.
