Default Ford 6.0 Problems?

Has Ford cured their 6.0 problems yet?

I just sold my 2000 7.3 and was going to order a new one.

I have an 03 and have no problems. You will always hear more negative info than positive. I personally cannot answer you question acurately, but I will say I am very happy with my truck.

Thats good news.

Hey Troutly,
Do you pull your 382 with an F-350? I just bought a 38 Donzi and pulled it once with my 7.4 to Havasu before I sold it. Seemed to do fine.

My 03 Crew Cab, Short Bed, FX4, Lariat has about 5,700 miles on it since I purchased it in August.

I have had what I consider two MAJOR problems with the truck. They're big enough to gripe about IMO.

1) I absolutely hate the payment!!!
2)It will outrun any stock Diesel currently made.

Other than those two complaints I have nothing to gripe about.

i'm thinking of getting a new 6.0 myself, my dad has a new 6.0 and ive been pretty impressed, although i don't think it is as powerful as my 2002 250 with a modified 7.3, i think stock may work with the new truck. just not sure i want to start over again with the payment thing.

1.9% for 36 months was the best I was quoted today.

Troutly, I have an 04 f-250. I just got the airbags installed today, along with the the Bullydog 3 stage chip. The chip is unbelievable on the 3rd setting. It breaks the tires at half throttle. I don't know if the transmission will hold up if you gas it regularly. Does the airbags help with the sway you get when you pass an 18 Wheeler or they pass you. How much does your boat weigh. Mine weighs about 15,000lbs when loaded I'm thinking of getting a dually, but I wanted to try this as a last option. Thanks for your reply.
