39 MTI has the tight cockpit as Fred's pix shows.
42 MTI has acres of cockpit, plus a full queen berth and separate standup bathroom and sitting lounge.

just boils down to what you want.

Never been on the MTI, the Nor-Tech was the most Stable ride I have ever been in (38 or under) as far as a cat. Have been in most of the others. My .02

Cool

If your down at the Miami boat show, stop by the MTI display and take a look at our newest 42' PR-Series closed cockpit super cat. MTI went all-out rigging this feline

I guess I will go with the...............................Nor-tech. When it comes to speed the 36 Nor-tech is right with the Skater and is a larger boat.

Im a sucker for the skaters. Spent some time in a 24, 32, and 40. Also had a couple rides in a 39 MTI. The MTI shocked me in the turns. The skaters were more comfortable at faster speeds. My .02$.

Matt; you and Leon been running my MTI without me knowing about it.

Just kidding.

BTW, my MTI equipped with Mercury 575 and ITS drives will be in the water at the Miami show.

You can talk all you want about speed and handling of all these cats but a 36' Skater has been the National Champion for the past 5 years in APBA SCL (F3).

All the three boats are awsome but the Skater gets my vote.

Truth be told that is a question for which there is no wrong answer......

If absolute top speed, deck and hull customization, or leading edge technology is your ticket...go for the Skater.....the true originator.

If creature comforts are your main thing...go for the Nor-Tech.

Not sure when I'd choose the MTI out of this trio...since I, personally, don't care for the deck styling, and I have some other prejudices........but, I have to admit the hull has done well in racing.
