Yellow...I don't believe you can compare an Activator to a Donzi, they are different animals. The Activator is a narrow 7' beam with sit down bolsters and a cramped cockpit compared to the Donzi. If it's all about running hard and fast, I think there would be agreement that the Activator would rule, but some people want more utility out of a boat than just the best running boat. These boats are a lot of money, and some people need to have a boat that runs well, can carry family/friends with some room in the cockpit and have some amenities. If all you do is run fast and hard and Activator is cool, but powerguy has some other factors involved, like a wife (they can change the whole picture) who probably want to stretch out on the flat sun pad and have some friends aboard without stepping on eachother because of lack of room.

Run fast and hard only = Activator
Run not quite so fast and hard but have some functional utility = Donzi

Therer is only one place here to rack store a boat. It is 5 minutes from my house and has gas and service onsite. I can store my boat inside on a rack year round so no shrink wrap or other storage issues. With the zebra mussels and algea growth in Lake Champlain I really like having a clean boat. I also travel a lot for business so knowing that the oat is high and dry when I am travelling and a storm hits is a big plus. On Lake Champlain there are a lot of places where a smaller boat is easier to get into than a larger boat. This way at least my boat spending is kept in check.

A 26ZX weighs 5200Lbs a 28ZX weighs 6200lbs.

When you speak of selling the big (5) Cigarette, Donzi, Magnum, Formula and Apache, resale is much higher.
I even have a 1972 Sweet 16 Donzi Outboard solid as a rock..

The drive can stick out more than 28'. The hull and any swim platform cannot be longer than 28'. Don't ask me, I don't set the criteria.
