The Good Stuff is right, just take your time . It might be a pain but once there off , there off. Don't use any blades!

Do not use acetone or nail polish remover on PAINT! You will risk damaging it. You can use it on plain white gel/fiberglass.

3M makes a product called Adhesive Remover. It comes in a can similar to what paint thinner looks like, Red and White can, available at any Auto Body Supply shop. (Look in Yellow Pages.) Goof-Off from Home Depot/Lowes works well too. Be very careful with a heat gun. They are hot, and can bubble your paint. I would wait for at least a 50* day, and go out with a hairdryer, and one of the above products. They also make plastic razor blades which can help if used properly.

PS... I think you need a tire.

Goof off and 3M adhesive remover are both Xylene.... if you can buy xylene at the paint store... it's a lot cheaper than stuff that is repackaged under the other names... Here in California you can't buy xylene any more because of the smog regulations. If you are wondering what to do with the left over xylene... if it's the real xylene... you can dump it in your gas tank and burn it... it is 140 octane and comes out of the crack furnace a couple of layers up from gasoline... :D
