Best way to remove vinyl grafphics?
1 Attachment(s)
I picked up my new boat on Tuesday. It was only 7 deg outside, Michigan weather. Well I plan to re-due some of the stickers on the boat, not sure whats the best way to remove the old ones. I tryed the heat gun and finger nail but could take for ever! Well let me know what will work, thanks Kyle

Nice boat congratulations... PM Sean Stinson he just took mine off this week. STS HIGH PERFORMANCE |
I know of the eraser, but I've never tried.
My .02...I like that graphic. It works with the lines of the boat extremely well. Kinda reminds me of the blackhawk donzis. |
Actually the hair dryer and peeling it works pretty fast once you get it warm and going. I would not try it right now:D But once it starts to lift use the hair dryer to keep the joint where the sticker and the hull warm and it will lift right off.

then use goof off/goup off snot sure of the spelling, to get the glue off. Ryan if you use anything better please let un know, I just stripped my boat for the 4th or 5th time.

the bad part is some of the stickers are so old that they are dry and cracked into small pices. It's a pain in the a**. the last person put new vinyl over them, not vary professional.

HEAT GUN &PLASTIC PUTTY KNIFE WORKED WELL FOR ME . THE I USED ACETONE TO REMOVE THE GLUE... GOOD LUCK
