And it dosen't matter what size it is neither.
Sorry Apache Guys,I know the truth hurts. This was a dare from Team Baja. Maybe he is trying to start a little somthen, somthen, but I just could'nt pass up a good Dare.

I hope everybody noticed I was quoting MACH 5, and was not issuing this as a challenge to ANY Apache owners.
I have not seen a firm reply from MACH 5 and was wondering when this thing was gonna go down.

The POW-WOW.

The only race my dear KAAMA might win right now is the Trailer Queen award. Or at least give Fred's boat a good run for it's money.

Peace
Bulldog

Ok Mr. Dietz, it's your turn, I'll let you post your own pics. I know you are in the Keys this weekend and I'm supposed to be there, but I had a gentleman and his wife come look at the Cig, so I'm late and won't be down 'till later. I'll call you.

I agree with you that Powerplay doesn't make a big enough boat to run with your 41 Apache(s).

However, remember the 33' Powerplay "Muscle"?? That boat domiated the Offshore B class for a few years, and now it does run well over 100mph (114 or so) and I doubt it will break. I have been in a few and the ride for a 33' will astonish you.
I was in Geronimo (with the "Illustrious one") a few times and that thing was bad a$$!! Give the Powerplay guys a break!! Besides, I want a 33"PP!!

Semper Fi---

I here ya. Have you seen the P.Play in the for sale section? I wish my boat was sold 'cause I would jump all over that bad azz boat!!! Fastest speed being 101.3 or something with naturally aspirated power. Gives me goose bumps just thinking about it.

Yes I have seen it. Looks like a real nice boat. Good luck selling your boat.

Mach 5 issued a rough water challange to the 41 Apaches and P.Apache picked up the gauntlet. It will be warm enough in NJ soon for a Atlantic Ocean 6' plus whitecap rough water powerboat race. Real Offshore racing! I have seen lesser boats run smaller water with success, but when it gets to 6' the Apaches are in their own element.
Big numbers on the dyno, gps and bravo drives will not help. You can use your twin steps to ascend the front porch. When the Atlantic Ocean gets unfriendly, 41 Apaches and Speedmasters will rule the roost. Always did.

WetKitty42 01-24-2004 09:39 PM

this is true...

dhlaw 01-24-2004 09:53 PM

With all due respect..... 6 foot is a number that is thrown around pretty casually but I doubt that too many people here would be very excited about running 90mph plus in true 6 foot conditions. I live on an inlet to the atlantic ocean and have been out in 6 footers with a 7 second interval a few times in the last few weeks. I'll give you a good look at my twin steps on the way by. I think the only thing speedmasters are good for are keeping together for the guys that cant throttle!!!

Papache 01-24-2004 10:00 PM

THERE IS NO CIGARETTE THAT WILL BEAT MY BOAT.
MY BOAT RUNS 114. 722 CI 1350 HP COBRAS. ASK RANDY
BRING IT ON BUDDY.

P.Apache and his 41 do run 6' seas, and yes it is big water. But the Apache equipped with speedmasters thrive in it. Twin steps and bravos are for bay buzzing. The water is so small it is difficult to make a mistake with the throttle. If you did the bravos would come apart like a cheap watch.

Papache 01-24-2004 10:09 PM

WE DON'T NEED TO SMOKE.WE KNOW. MY BOAT IS GOING TO COBRA POWER. SO BRING IT ON.WE WILL RUN

Back4More 01-24-2004 10:15 PM

Hey Paul, Bring that old resin bucket to the Chicago WarParty...we'll see that 114 number fade fast.

dhlaw 01-24-2004 10:15 PM

I'll wait till Randy has you all freshened up.... dont want any excuses!!

Back4more, what does your boat run?? That boat has some work doesnt it??

Papache 01-24-2004 10:20 PM

WE DON'T NEED EXCUSES. OLD RESIN BUCKET IS BETTER
THEN TOOTHPICKS AND GLUE BOATS

Hey, I tagged RAZZ with his speedmasters and ZUL 1000's in 4-5 footers a few months ago with my HP500EFI Top Gun so the Gladiator with the 750 Eickerts and bravos ought to be just fine. I sure hope the Gladiator does well in big water, you know Tres only raced it in the bay races that year he won.........
Well I guess all that is left for you and Mach5 is to come up to NJ and beat the hell out of that old technology. Bring it on!
