The one I get will have twins. I'm thinking 500's may push up the cost too much. The owner of Liberator is building a single for himself. 1000-1100 HP. It will be a 580CI with a 14-71 blower and a B-Max. Any ideas what it may do?

So what's the price with the 496's? I just can't imagine there are many buyers out there for this set-up. I'd think you have to go triple 300 OB's or twin 525's to make it move and be marketable. ???

Thanks for the nice pics GLH. The boat will run at 96 mph trimmed all the way out. In my opinion the 500's aren't worth the diff. The diffrence is 425hp vs. 470hp. Jay at Spectre tested my boat when it was just built and feels that with just adding the sportmaster lowers I will break the 100 mph mark. It is at MGD performance right now with that on the "to do list". I was the first Spectre with this set up, and I'm not sure if anyone else did the same, but feel free to call me with any questions. (518) 796-3325. Good Luck!!!!

I agree with GLH and Chuck. I have been on Chucks boat and it is GORGEOUS and the set up he has is TURN KEY! Remember, I am a die hard SKATER man but you cannot get a BIGGER bang for the buck than what Chuck has! You get a ALOT of motor for your money with the 496 HO's in a little cat.
Hope to see you soon Chuck and maybe do some snowmobiling.
