How much will the salvage title affect my resale? I paid 200, KBB is 4200.

If you document the car from trash to flash in a photo album, it will go a long way towards helping that unit retain a better portion of an undamaged unit.

On the other hand, if it is a basket case now then no amount of pix will make somebody feel okay about it.

How bad does it hurt it? Depends on what it is.

Good advice. The documentation is the key. If it is just a stripper or a sheet metal damage then you will not loose much value as long as you can show that the repairs were done correctly.
