Just on the news, they are discontinuing the seach for the driver. He was in a 36 Spectre on Tampa Bay near the Gandy bridge. Hearts and prayers go out to all involved..... Dave

OMG, that's awful Dave!

I know of a 36 spectre that hangs out at Shell a lot, but never got to knew the guy. This is terrible news.

They were taken to the hospital but they never found the driver....said they were running close to 100 when Chris's boat caught air and started flipping. Alot of damage to the port side sponson. God Bless....... Dave

The 34-foot boat flipped while traveling at high speeds with another boat south of the bridge. Two females and a male were on board when it flipped.
The females were rescued and are being treated at Tampa General Hospital. The search for the male, who owns and was driving the boat, continues.
Tampa Fire Rescue, the Coast Guard and other agencies are participating in the investigation.
