Here's a quick pic of my front end I just took a couple minutes ago. Not real good.

Troutly...Those are the chrome tow hooks off the Harley Superduty I told you I had on order. Just got them put on 2 days ago. I'll try and get a better pic later on this week.

Mine is supposed to be here this week, can't wait!

The moonroof is awesome. I added it to mine post-order, and they shipped without it so we had to reorder another one..

ST31, ask your dealer about the Milwaukee tools rebate going on that truck :)

hp500efi 01-26-2004 05:49 AM

Nice :). I love the moonroof option, in fact my next truck will have one :)

I like the sunroof option too. Wish I knew about it when I bought my truck. Oh well.

Great looking truck by the way. Congrats! I have a funny feeling you're gonna like it.

Here's a truck we did this weekend for a customer. Lift, tires, and wheels. The same pic I posted in the OT forum on another thread.

st31, that is a great truck, now for the fun, building it. I did the amp and subs and can't even listen to stock now, I also lifted mine 3", time to visit thedieselstop.com to learn all there is to know about the SD PSD. Hey Buck, I would like to know more about the tires and wheels on the pictured truck. I like the wheels alot and plan on new in the spring. Is that a 4" or 6" lift? That truck looks good, I can't wait to get the new wheels as the stock limited are ok but too narrow. Anybody want to buy them, they look like the king ranch and can only be gotten on either the KR or Limited X.

mcraymond3 01-26-2004 07:21 PM

If anybody else wants one, I will sell you at dealer invoice. Just call me, we have a good selection. We also have three dually 4x4s and two Harley HD's.

It's a 6" Superlift. 16x8 KMC Wheels. Tires are 315/70/16 Nitto Terra Grapplers. The tires and wheel could have been bigger. He actually uses this truck instead of showing it off. With this package he will have plenty of room for wheel travel and towing heavier loads is still possible for him. It's a 6 speed Lariat. Anything bigger and he'll probably want to re-gear.

I may have went for a 10" wide wheel myself. But he doesn't have a problem with tires sticking out 6" past his fenderwells either. Overall it's a clean looking truck that way it's done.

Didn't realize until I got home tonight and saw your reply that it didn't take. Guess I need to take my medication. :p

It's easy to tell when your shift is over Troutly. Things are quiet every night until this time. :)

Sorry for the delay in getting back to everyone. Had to go to Virginia this week. Froze my butt off. Left the 70 degree weather of Dallas for that. :( Got back to Dallas late last night.

I love the truck, and the roof just makes it even better. It goes in this weekend for the new grill and the week after for the new bed cover. I'll post some more pic's after the latest upgrades.

Troutly, When are you getting yours? Decided on the color yet?

The Wizard 01-29-2004 12:41 PM

Hey Buck,

Where did you order those front hooks? I tried to order some yes. and the dealer looked at me like I had 3 heads!! I just picked up my 250 last friday..

Lots of luck with her....

Thanks,

Very nice truck! My '03 F350 has 24,000 miles pulling the Bacardi Silver 36 and I can't say enough for the 6.0/5 speed auto trans since Ford replaced the engine with an '04 version. My newest truck is a RAM SRT10. Not good for towing boats but it sure "hauls" for a truck.

The Wizard 01-29-2004 03:04 PM

Hi Troutly,

Your saying they should look under 2004 F 350 Harley Davidson edition?

I thought the Harley only came out in F250..

Let me know

thanks,

 zzie

The Wizard 01-29-2004 03:06 PM

and F150 of course...

Just like Troutly said, have them look at the film on the Harley Superduty instead. A good parts guy would have done that for ya. ;)

Talk about a nice truck. Yours looks great as well.

Buck,

Can you give me the number of your parts guy? I'll call him ....

Thanks for all the info.

LOL....that's funny.

479-524-9581 central time.

Ask for the parts dept. His name is Frank. Hrs are 9-5. Tell him you want some of the tow hooks that he got for Brian @ Pro Trucks. He'll know what you're talking about. Hell, just have him order them for ya and I'll pick them up and ship em to ya if you want me too. He'll give me a little price break anyway. ;)

The Wizard 01-30-2004 09:20 AM

Hey Buck,

Thanks for the info., I spoke with Frank. he gave me the part number and I ordered them through my guy. I thought it was kind of funny giving a "Ford parts guy" a part number he couldn't find:D .

PS do you have any family in New York? My best friends name is Jim Buck:D

Thanks for the info. that was nice of you, we're not use to that around here:D...lol
