You might want to upgrade now, if you don't have HD now there will be alot more channels soon, so if you get a more up to date system you will be ready. You can still keep your boxes but get a better dish with swtch boxes instead of the spliter.

I like my Dish-network but it's a toss up between them and Direct. You can get a guy to come out with a meter to see where you can put the dish. I have seen some that look like they are pointed into a tree and work fine.
