Beautiful boat, the grafics look very clean and won't become dated like you said! I think low to mid 70's should be realistic. Sydwayz has a 500 EFI ( no ITS or infused hull ) and I thought he said he runs 71. I have also heard claims of 80 with that power but have a hard time beleiving that! Hope you prove me wrong Steve

I do have a 1999 with a 500EFI and I can pull 71/72 GPS in chop running really light. Flat water is not where this boat excells.

Congrats on the boat. You will LOVE the boat. Just remember NOT to back off the throttle when all your friends do at the rough spots. You will beat them to the destination every time.

I actually have black bezels, but here is a pic of a '02 - 28 SS listed on Boat Trader with the purple dash panel and purple bezels. I think it looks pretty good. Either way I think you'll be happy with the new look.

I'll post a close up of my panel once I get the boat home, and maybe it will help with your decision. Who knows, we both may hate it, but I'll be the one stuck with it...lol

509 SC and Sydwayz,

Thanks guys for the info... I can't say that I won't be a little disapointed, if I don't see some exellent gains from the the lighter hull and ITS, but at least I won't be in the back this year...lol

Are you going to Monty's on the 13 th? Wanna talk to you about that Concept... Sweet ride..
jlsnyder24baja that is a nice boat. I often sell myself short with my 25 PowerPlay but let me tell ya.. We can hang with the big dogs too...

I'm sure you'll enjoy it.. Be sure to post speeds when you dial it in and again.. Nice ride dude..
