My house is on the river and looks right out the inlet in Daytona, I have a 16,000lb lift and will make it available to a team for the overnight on the first leg.

What a race!!!!
Reminds me of the "old" offshore races from Point Pleasant Beach, NJ out to Long Island and back.
It'll make for good TV viewing and will have a drama all its own.
Can't wait to see it come together.

This is TOO cool!

Seems like a very positive step for the sport and as previously mentioned, getting back to the 'roots' of offshore. I'll be watching this thread closely.
