Default Boating and hats

I am sure I am not the only one that has this problem. You see, I am a tad thin in the hair dept. up top. I have a horrible time keeping baseball caps on when boating and without a hat my little head will burn to a nice bright red. I am not really a do-rag kind of guy. What do you folks do to keep your hats on when boating or do you know of a hat that will stay on at speed? Websites are welcome.

Make sure it's good and tight, though thankfully I don't have the "thinning" problem. Also, go punk and turn it around backwards. That what Hyperbaja does.

Even backwards doesn't help that much. I've lost plenty of them in reverse. The Kap Strap may keep me from losing my hat, but it won't keep it on my head so I will still get fried.

I found this. It is a helmet liner, but it might do the trick. Not sure about the "hood" look to it though.

I just do the dew rag when I'm running and take it off when I stop. Fortunately the boat gets a lot more attention than I do.

I'm like Madcow, do rag when running, and hat when stopped. If I remember to switch.

Btw, my cousin fell out laughing the first time he saw this picture, he thought I had a red jockstrap on my head!
