Lot of Talk about the "Speed Record"

Audio,
it is simple. If Reggie was willing to go head to head, we would not be having this conversation, but he wasn't. OL offered to split the cost of the event, and even foot the bill for the event. The only way to settle this would be to line them up and run like gentlemen, but you and I know that is not going to happen.

However has their boat ever placed in a race? Because according to the rules IT HAS TO to be elligable. Split the costs or not they (OL) was not eligable to run. Are we sapposed to bend or break the rules for OL??

As long as all the same rules are fallowed for BOTH of them then I am cool with that. That is my problem with the way they are playing now. They are playing under different rules. I find that SBI is a MUCH more redible sanctioning body.

One other thing to consider. They were using GPS. Did they go in both directions? Because there can be ON HELL of a current that runs in there depending on the area. Did they run one run after the other or did they run one run out on the outgoing tide and another run in on the incoming tide? I do not know the answers to this as there has not been any info provided about it.

Bend? you must be joking.
SBI & Rulebook are contradicting terms.
