How can you do anything else when your stuck in a room?

Im still stuck in the bedroom myself. Got three keys, metal rod, cassette, power cord, red box, two pieces of paper, a ring and a battery. Cant get the door open.

Nevermind. Stupid second ring was the hold up. Once that appeared, it was easy.

This is stupid,,, things don't make logical sense, you can click on the same spot 10 times and nothing happens,, spin around the room a few more times and click again and all of the sudden things appear,, like I said, not a brain teaser,, a lesson in stupidity... but I solved it..
