How can I get in contact with Mr. Paul Barros? I always been a huge fan of BRT and would really enjoy speaking with Mr. Barros. Thanks a lot in advance,

Jim

A friend looked at that one.

Needs cosmetic help.

It doesn't have a rub rail...

The 24 BRT is awesome! I have a 1986 model equipped with an aluminum fairing from BRT (Paul Barros), custom full rear bulk head, 3 man bolster seat with built in K shift and K throttle, 36in Monster K Planes, 525 MDG Blower motor, custom dash panel with Lavorsi Monster Gauges, and Bravo drive with IMCO lower unit. No expense spaired. 82 MPH on GPS. Exclusively maintained by MDG Performance Marine in Edgewater Maryland. Check out the pictures

Sorry to bring up a old thread, but my father build the BRT boats with Paul. My dads name is Bruce Almeida, hes a master fiberglass man. He built them in the 80's. I had a picture somewhere with him and paul standing near the 24' still on the lowboy boat cart. its a red and black hull. Anyone have contact info to paul? My father would love to talk to him im sure, its been a very very long time he has seen him. my email is mustangforever ( at ) comcast .net

730,
Welcome to OSO. There use to be a red BRT in the Toms River NJ area, it was a great looking boat. What ever happened to the molds?

Re: BRT Boats

Thx for the replies. My dad remembers the pantera, MarineTrans.

As for the molds, supposibly the 24's are in cape cod area, somewhere. I do know these molds get passed around and are being produced by other companies. Ironicly i believe the BRT were made from other companies molds, just altered. But i know yous knew that :D.

I do know where a 27 footer mold is. Needs some fixing to be worthy, but i dont think my dad has spoken to him in a while, not sure if he still has the mold. It sat outside last i knew when i was a little guy.
