Here is a shot of the 540 installed on the Merc TRS transom assembly. It is a very straightforward swap, remove the exsisting bellhousing and install the Konrad bell (includes new bellows and hinge pins) and bolt up the drive.

We then removed the TRS transom assemblies and got ready to install the Konrad units.

The Konrad transom assembly is a work of art. It is made to last thousands of hours and be serviced easily. Notice the upper swivel pin inspection plate!

We are now ready to install the drives. Notice the size of the 540 u-joints! They are two sizes larger than a Speedy IIIA and three sized larger than a TRS or Bravo! :eek:
