who all has painted there drives another color????I saw a picture of Parnells Sabre and I fell inlive with the red drives....anyone else painted them???

Mines powder coated black (upper) and silver (bottom). Looks awesome.

All you gotta do is put one of those indian head stickers on the side of your boat and your all clear to paint the drives any pastel color you want!!!!!

Yep, and then you can ask twice as much for it as it is realistically worth!!!

I painted the drives on Formula. Purple uppers with silver bottoms they looked great.

They're not #6's, but it's a nice sort of charcoal metallic. (I ddn't paint them.)

It's a bummer that Volvo doesn't make those packages any more, they would make a great set up on a single screw 26-28 footer.
