normally, I'm a light beer type, but it was so damn sunny and hot yesterday while on the water that I would suggest a frozen drink, like a rum runner.... :D :D

I seem to find a new favorite drink every year.
Here are a few from the last three years. Summer Brew Sky Vodka Sweet and Sour mix 7up Blvd. Wheat beer Tall, on ice, all in the same glass....YUMMY! Parrot Bay Mango/Tangerine Twister...YUMMY! This summer, I have decided to like Parrot Bay Pineapple juice Cranberry juice....YUMMY! Man I am getting thirsty!!!! |
Anybody who's boated on the Calumet River outside Chicago knows the best boat drink...the famous Downscope at Skipper's Marina. A couple of those (served in 1/2 gallon milk jugs) and you are feeling NO pain.
My personal favorite concoction: the DEW RUM RUN. Malibu or Mt. Gay Rum and Mountain Dew. Makes you a wide-awake drunk thats for sure. |

Pina Coladas are one of my favorites, however after reading this thread I might have to broaden my horizon.

My favorite drink is what I call pimp juice
Mix all of these same amounts, in a blender with ice. Southern comfort Peach snapps ameretta vodka Pineapple juice Orange Juice splash of cranberry Some of the people at Kentuckey lake Know about these drinks. |
If its on the water, I have to go with a drink Tonto introduced to
Malibu rum and Diet Coke 1/2 and 1/2 of each in a pint glass. Its light and easy to drink without putting me over the edge. At some point in the evening I switch to Bacardi and Diet Coke That usually wakes-up the drunk in me Shots... Baby Guinness 2/3 Kaluha on the bottom Baileys layered on the top. For the ladies is Liquid Panty Remover---Southern Comfort and Coke |

Captain Morgan's Steamy Applecolada Dream
Ingredients: 4 oz Apple cider 1/2 oz Captain Morgan's Spiced rum 1/2 oz Coconut rum (Parrot Bay) 1/2 oz apple Pucker Mixing instructions: Start with hot or steamed apple cider. Add equal parts apple schnapps, spiced rum and coconut rum. Stir. Then Just Sit Back and Enjoy ;) |
Catalina Margarita
Ingredients:
1 1/2 oz Tequila 1 oz Peach schnapps 1 oz Blue Curacao 4 oz Sour mix Mixing instructions: Shake with cracked ice and strain into chilled cocktail or margarita glass |

Ingredients: 2 1/2 parts Gold rum 1 part Brandy 1 part Triple sec 1 part Lemon juice 5 drops Orange bitters Mixing instructions: In a cocktail shaker add ingredients and fill with ice. Shake with gusto for half a minute, and pour/strain into a cocktail glass. Garnish with lemon peel, or lime peel if you use fresh lime juice. ___________________________________ Firehammer Ingredients: 1 1/2 jigger Vodka 1/2 oz Amaretto 1/2 oz Triple sec 1 splash Lemon juice, freshly squeezed Mixing instructions: combine with ice in shaker strain into cocktail glass ___________________________________ Continental Ingredients: 1 3/4 oz Light rum 1 1/2 tsp Green Creme de Menthe 1 tblsp Lime juice 1/2 tsp Powdered sugar 1 twist of Lemon peel Mixing instructions: Shake all ingredients (except lemon peel) with ice and strain into a cocktail glass. Add the twist of lemon peel and serve. |

Crown and 7. If not driving, then Yagermeister and RedBull shots. Sounds bad but it's good! Pour 1/2 can Redbull into a shallow cup, then drop a shot glass full of yager into the red bull and drink fast! A few of those will definitely "give you wings"!
