Best Summer Boating Cocktail
 

Sitting here in the snow and rain and thought I would make a nice drink and pretend it's summer. What is your favorite boat drink.

All recipes welcome! It's cocktail time:)

Rum runners, mud slides, whiskey sours.

VODA Vodka
 

It's Blue Berry Vodka:D :D :D Goes best with a straw in the bottle;)

I think it's availible in Michigan only.

Solomons Island Tiki Bar has the best Mai Tais I have ever had. That would be my vote. But normally Im a beer guy. Corona is the choice of the summer. I prefer darker stouts but those dont mix too well on the hot summer days.

Used to have a bar and may still be in Grand Haven Mi... called Tip A Few... Two long Islands and your OUT for the night.

funny story. few years back i was partying at millstones outside bar at loto. bikini contest was going on. went to the head and this guy was in a stall puking his azz off. it was packed , guys waiting in line. anyway , in between heaves he starts yelling "gimme chunks , i want chunks ":D

talk about hardcore :crazy:
at least he had a good sense of humor about it.
it was hilarious at the time , maybe yaa had to be there..........

Has to be the SNOWPLOW. I made it up at LOTO one afternoon sitting by the pool. Being from WI we have plenty of time in the off season to experiment with different blends
Snowplow = 1-shot of JD, 1-shot apple pucker, 1-shot Orange Vodka (Absolute), and a half can of Red Bull.

Taste like cool-aid, drink three in the hot sun and you will be PLOWED.

One of my Favs--

Absolut Mandarin Vodka and sprite.

It tastes like a refreshing orange crush.

Choke:

A quart of Seagram's Seven,
A 2 liter of Mello Yello.
A bottle of Holland House sour mix,
one glass of water,

All poured into a large aluminum stew pot with 2 handles.

It is supposed to be guzzled from the stew pot, but you can also drink it out of "cannons".

(Cannons are a 9" long piece of 3" PVC pipe with a rounded cap glued on the bottom)

Mikes Hard Lemonade or Mikes Hard Cranberry on ice w/a shot of Absolut for good measure. Very refreshing!

Mostly beer. I used to get really $hit faced when out on the water. I have toned it down the last few years.

No I dont own a bar I work for a company as VP of Sales... I should own a bar I would be my best customer.

Two favorite drinks are,

- Grey Goose and Red Bull
- Jagerbomb - Jagermeister and Red Bull

On the boat in the summer though it's Bud in a can all the way.

I agree JC, snowplows are awesome, lots of booze with a kicker and they taste great. we add a little diet coke on top.

Mostly drink Miller Lite and save the Snowplows until the boat is docked.

For me Crown Special Reserve on the rocks.:D

I fired her up but have not made any drinks yet. The thing is AWSUM!! Its not heavy and not that big, you coud easily fit it down in the cabin.:D
