As the owner of the 39MTI with Yanmar power I was in
the boat when we ran 103 and Terry is right we are still
prop testing. The MTI is just a faster boat. Bill

The first test we had Rolla props slow getting up on plane ran 103 at 3100rpm's. Just got a set of Mercury
prop shafts for a better choice props to test

Why didnt you go with a 2 or 3 speed tranny.

That would make it easy to get on plane, motor around the harbor, and the diesels would pull forever in 2nd or 3rd gear.

Weismann has one that is awesome.

I'll bet my Gps will be right with a mti's any day with the same hp. Hell a big cat hardly even starts packn air at 100.
