I have had 2 props done by Houston Prop. I've been very happy with our dealings. This is the first negative I've heard about them.
I do know that he was giving a big discount on the first set of 5 blade props, not on all the first orders.
Is it possible that is where the confusion has come from?

Keep in mind last week was the Miami boat show. I wouldn't jump so quick to clobber the guy. Then again if it was my money I would be a little pissed too.

There could of bee some confusion or misunderstanding in regards to the price. That was a pretty big increase. Let us know how it all turns out.

I personally have met Darin and he is not the kind of guy who would screw you around. I'm sure somewhere in this situation there was a miscommunication. It happens and I'm sure you guys can resolve it. He did excellent work for me and ended up charging me less that we originally agreed.

Jimm Darr called 2/3 asking about the five blds, wanted them labbed I said 1,800.00 he said he would think about it,I told him this is on the first set.YOU mentioned chillers???? then on 2/12 I sold a set,You posted on 2-20 thinking about five blds, I think your thread was maximus five blds, hydros, and Houston props five blds vs.I have not heard anything from Jim SINCE 2/3 out OF the blue,I have a check being sent to me for 1,800.00 on 2/22 I replied last night I cant offer this price as I have casting dues, after the first set,I said let me know ,He sent me a threating e-mail this a.m. and I replied I will send your un opened check when it arrives,I cant work or lab the props for free,if you want them for 1,800.00 there yours but not labbed.sorry you feel so p.o.but you could have called ,I was waiting till tue,to call you as I could see there was a lack of communication here, but you would rather cause this mess instead of working it out .Darin

Yup, that's just about what I thought you would say. The whole story sounded fishy from the first post.
