Breaking Boat Show News:

Famous OSO'er Too Old's newly remodeled 39 Sutphen to appear in the Smoke on the Water Poker Run in July 2004 in Grand Haven Michigan.
Fred Cecil, owner of the "Refrigerator on it's side" was overheard at the Miami Boat show, referring to all the slow straight bottom deep v's in the great lakes, "I can pass those turd's on one motor!" He was discussing the emergence of his umpteenth offshore rig on the poker run scene in America. Greatly anticipated and often doubted, he led people to beleive that it would in fact be completed this summer. 2004 that is. Everyone who has ridden in a 2000hp sutphen was questioning how he was going to hold on when he hit the sticks for the first time.
The buzz around Montey's, a local offshore hotspot in Miami , on Friday, was that Too Old was in the house. The mere thought of this wise old salty dog showing up at a poker run and kicking everyone's azz was the talk of the show. Look for more updates as we uncover the truth about this possible barnstorming tour.

I dont think Fred has the "SACK" to run that boat with 2000 hp.....Heck if he's going to show up for SOTW I'm going to be there!!!I'll dig DEEP into my mad money just to see it!!!I may have to sit on the trailer the rest of the summer but it would be worth every penny!

Ya mean I'm gonna finally meet Too Old a fellow member of the obsolete, slow, straight bottom club :eek: No better place than SOTW, we just do our best to keep all those steppers in sight as we chug along with our bows held high :D :D

Spotted him in the lobby of the Holiday Inn. He tried to duck me, but I confronted him about the drugs, money, and weapons anyway.

Maybe that's why he laid low for the rest of the show.

Wouldn't it be ironic if after all these boats, TooOld finally splashes one, and discovers he's developed motion sickness!!!:eek: :D

Sorry gentlemen but I can't take credit away from too old's wife. Yes, she alone penned the "Refrigerator on it's side" name. Fred will you be changing that? If you come to smoke I will pony up the rest of the fee. :D

BTW I know I can hit ww for 1/2 of that cause it's his only competition. The man's just sick for a race. :D

Thanks for the compliment JD, I figured since I will be a lot slower than you and Jerry people may actually see mine at a poker run. Fishy one looked great too. Too Old, are you really going to 'splash' this rig this year? I don't believe it. And, if you check the thread last year when you bought the Cig, I said you wouldn't keep it and you scoughed at the idea. Well, seems I was right. Now, I think I see this one going away before it hits water as well.... :p :eek:

If you drag it up here Fred, I'll help you launch it, dock it, drive it, and put it back on the trailer when you're done. Did you catch that middle part.... drive it....??? Like, IN THE WATER!!!
