I can't believe in this day and age, that our govt, can allow this kind of $hit to keep goin on. Just goes to show how our govt is F'n us ALL the time.
This is just one more example of why I'm glad to hear when one of US cheats the F'n govt and screws them back!!!
HORRAY FOR US!!! and F them.

That's BS!
Ok, so there's a backlog of oil tankers trying to off load, the oil companies are foreseeing the spring/summer increase in consumption but they can't stockpile crude because of the backlog at the ports, so they decide to increase prices in hopes it'll lower the demand and give them time to offload.
I understand their logic.
But since there isn't really a shortage and the cost to refine/distribute the product hasn't risen, all this will really do is raise profits. Price gouging.
The oil producing countries and the refining companies have the world by the cajones. They know that nothing moves without oil.
I hate big corporations!

Gas in NY hasn't been below 1.75 for regular and 1.90 something for super since the summer when it was 1.89 and 2.05.. Yet when I was in Jersey last week it was like 1.43 and 1.59,, it's like 6 bucks cheaper to fill up in jersey..
