I have these two circuit breakers under my rear seat. I was a little worried about having something hit them when running, and cutting power to something I needed.

I took a small tupperware container, and mounted the lid to the bulkhead, and the cup, sticks into the lid, over the switches. By painting the inside, you also do not know what the hell it is if you were snooping.

Not only does it stop anyone from accidently shutting them off but it also keeps water out.

I too have a circuit breaker panel unde the rear seat. It's much bigger, more switches, but I'm always afriad of getting them wet.
If you don't mind I'll "borrow" you idea and find a container large enough to cover mine and install it same as yours. I think I'd drill a small vent hole facing the deck to keep condensation from forming inside.

Great idea! I got the he!! beat out of me last year when I made a 70-mile run to Baltimore in snotty weather with no (zero) tab or drive trim capability. Once we got there, we did some research and found an "Accessory" breaker under the rear seat that had been tripped by a wayward bottle of oil. (It should have been labeled "Essential $hit".) Never really appreciated how much trim matters until that day....
