...1000cc Gen 3 Mach Z Any Questions???? |
Nice.
The rev platform is ugly, but has an amazing ride. 1000cc twin-cool! $13,599 NOT cool! |
I guess its not a rev. They call it a RT chassis, something like only using 23 parts that were on the rev.
mitchstellin... its calling your name :D Anybody want to buy a sled. 2002 800mxz, 2700 miles 216 studs, new 10"carbides, mbrp can, no stickers, all black. $5500 ( what i owe on it) :( |

Sorry mitchy for bustin yo balls~~ :D |
OH $HIT, professional rider, do not attempt, we do this every weekend:D That must be Canada, they leave a cordory groom mark. This is exactly what we ride, miles of triple digit speeds...sometimes 30-40. That video was sweet, I am going to look at the Polaris also. The T Cat is going to sleep. The shots of the suspention at speed was great and floating over the dips is like jumping waves. Man that was cool, thanks.:D :D :D
|
yeah polaris has a new 900 out  Haven't read much about it. :)
|
The price is crazy, I bet they wake up and do something about that, No inflation but prices keep going thru the roof. :(
|
Thats what we ride in northern maine...

Did 1 strech for alligash ME. to ft Kent last weekend at @ 105 only stopped for roads nothing like the feeling of running 80 and grabbing a hand full and hold on!! 630 miles in two days with stops for fuel lunch and dinner and in the room for 9 pm ...Mitch Glad you liked the link.. Bob |
We have a 50 mile streatch, the Haywire trail, no stops, few curves and no letting off. We ran this at 100 and never let up for about 35 minutes:D

Good luck getting any money out of the ZX chassis's or any triples. I was at the auction yesterday, I realize it a bad time of the year, and the 800 ZX's wouldn't bring over $2500. Ouch!!! The triples were a hole other story! I love my REV, can't see spending 10,600 on a sled, especially when it is not in the REV chassis.
I have a 00 Formula III 800 for sale $3500 obo pipes, ported, clutched all the goodies |
By the way, not trying to bash anyone. It just sucks, seems like sleds are not holding there value like they used to. It seems like if you by new, you get screwed! I buy new, who cares right, you can't take it with you.
|
you are right, mine is a lead weight dinosour but it is soo smooth at speed and just keeps pulling. I will keep it and use it for special occasions and friends..after i put a throttle block on it:D I bet the REV sleds at the auction will be priced right....someone will be trading for the Mach Z...I bet lots of them.:D

and buying new means warrenty and not someones neglect. I an tired of buying someone elses problems or lack of maintanance. I never bought a used sled before but I would buy a used 04 REV.
|
Cool. That video almost makes you feel sorry for the people in Miami who can't snowmobile and have to sit on their boats year round....:p
|
ok. This was my first year riding.. Does this happen to all of you.
While drivng my truck now. I drive it WFO all i can. I think my truck sucks cause I can't lift the tires of the ground when I floor it. I never stop for corners.. I lean into every corner I go into.. and sometimes I have to hang out the window Everytime I pass someone, I give the handle signal for how many cars behind me. I ride around town with my helmet on and the window down.. Is this normal?? or what :D :D :D |
Hey Traviss, we missed you last night. I give trucks the signal on the road:D and you can leave the ground if you hit the tracks at the right speed:D I don't abuse my truck or boats because i know I will be able to on the sled. I look forward to winter so I can feel the speed and pull. I can't aford a boat like that or a race car so this works great.:D
|
yeah mitch, I couldn't swing it cause I had no cash, whats new :(
You know I do mix my sled oil into my truck gas just to get the 2 stroke smell :D :D :D |
Good idea Traviss give those valves a nice oil bath. I always put my old mixed gas in the truck (when it was a gaser). Troutly is right, it is snowing hard here and sticking. I am going to go to sleep until this winter is over..maybe a month left of hit and miss snow and to be honest, I am over it.

Almost time to put them to sleep for the summer...just 1-2 more rides I hope..:D

There were about 5 REVs at the White Star auction yesterday. None of the 03 REVs sold, the reserves were at about $4400 4600, the only 04 was a 600 HO and it brought $5400. Nothing was going high, except a 02 ZR 600 EFI cross country. 2 guys must have really wanted it, went for $3700. That auction along with the REV chassis has really killed the market on the ZX, wait till next year. I bet the same thing happens with Polaris when the 900 hits the market.
|
Your right, when chassis's become obsolete the values drop and the market gets a major correction. The REV is revolutionary, it took one year to test on the market and this season the word spread like wild fire. I don't know one person, regardless of their level of brand loyalty (which is insane in some cases) that did not think the ride was superior. They talk about a little instability in corners but with the traffic on the trails the corners are too dangerous to be racing through anyway. It is nice to see mfgs taking chances with new ideas, with marginal snow the majority or the last 5-6 years it is expensive to R&D without worrying and many sit back and wait for profits again. I want one but don't absolutely need one. I do need a boat so that is first priority now.:D
|
Mitch..
same up here there are some trails that I cringe going into corners (a little gun shy) from almost being hit.. The Iroc- ing days are over.. however on the wide open stuff!!! I still like the sit back position of my Mach Z But the new sled is the best of both worlds forward position and less angle on the running boards..Should be a good mix. Bob |
blowinincome, i gotta come paint for you . the bodyshop biz must be REAL good up there:D :D
|
Blown:
Hows the snow melt going down there. We've had a bunch melt here, and the trails are in crappy condition. May be time to put'em up for good. |
Mitch, I know where there is an 04 800 witn electric start thats going to be sold for about 8000 Canadian bucks. Has less than 1000 miles on it. He has an 03 800 as well that will go for somewhere around 6000.That one has about 1800 miles on it. Both mint super clean sleds.
|
cool vid!
