Here's the latest creation from Will Smith of Phantom Boats. I believe Will will be piloting this boat along with Ken Doyle on the sticks during the 2004 season.

Is it running GM Vortec's or Mercury 525's for power???

What kind of trim tabs are those in pick 2, they are very narrow.

Thanks Ryan!!! I was just curious consider most have not tried a dry exhaust set up on the 525's and I know it is very common on the Vortecs.

Boat looks awesome...if ya need a second opinion on handling I have some spare time;) :D

the tabs are custom by Will Smith the boats builder, it also has Arneson rocker tabs infront of the drives VERY TRICK.

This thing is like a TV station inside with all the cameras he's mounted in it!:D

Can someone post pics of the inside of the canopy???? I find this kind of things interesting. Congrats on the NEW RIDE!!!!!!

Tell Will that T2x says he needs to put some strakes on the sides and deck...... It'll complement his driving technique.......;) ;) ;)

I met Will in the dry pits, a day before the Ocean City MD race in 1995 or so, when you guys won!
(I am the one that took the photo that you have, pulling up to the dock, with the checkered flag!).
Will wanted to sell me one of his boats.
He took me down inside Mr. Technology for a tour.....
I was blown away by this thing, it was pretty intimidating, sitting behind the sticks, with the exit waaayyyy back behind you, (just above Will's seat!) and I thought...WOW, this is like a spaceship! but I couldn't afford one like it then.
I saw you guys go over in the harbor turn in KW that year and was so glad to see you all get out OK.
I have always liked his designs, laid back attitude and honesty.
This new boat is something else entirely!

My wife was really happy to see us after the incident in Key West too....Thank God for onboard Scuba regulators and doing the dunker test just 24 hours before going over. It was probably a life saver.

I had the same luck as Mr. Gordon did and lets just say it is poetry in motion. And on top of it, Ken is a class act!!! I enjoyed listening and learning from him at dinner Tues night. I havent had the pleasure of meeting Will yet but his craftmanship was flawless. Good Luck to Mid-American Offshore this season.

Hope he gets to name it "Star Wars". The name really fits that boat well. The boat is just AWESOME!!

I stopped by Will's shop a few weeks ago. Will wasn't in yet but his guys let me preview the boat. Very nice piece. I met Will a few years back at the shop and he was very helpful and generous with his time.
