If game systems are so great, why do games have to be scaled down... ...j/k

PC all the way.

Look was OSO has done for this sport in General. What if you could get a corporate name on top of it? What about OffshoreOnly Grand Prix?

OR

We can call the abridged game console version Offshore Grand Prix/Lee Mills Style.

DOH!!
I think Syd is on to something!

Roby

It's just as easy to do on Xbox and PS2.

I've just always had bad luck with PC games.

My computer skills are pretty much just emailing things and everytime I tried to install a PC game I just had problems.
Right now console systems are the rage , that is where the money will be not the PC game.
But if it is made in a PC format I'm sure i will buy one

Here is my take on this... PC gamers tend to be hard core gamer types who are not really into boating. They want the games to do ALL sorts of things. I am definatly not a PC gamer. When you are you generally need some large PC that has a graphics accelerator and all sorts of things associated with it. I do own a PS2 though. I have like 3 games for it. I dont play it a whole lot I know this thats why I like the types of games that I could play for a few days, then walk away from for weeks and months at a time without having to take notes as to where I "left off" in the game.

I think you possibly COULD come up with 2-3 V hulls and 2 cat hulls to run, still have some nice options to play with on the boats with engine, props, drives, etc and still have decent graphics. I don think there is ANY way you can get ALL the manufactures in the game.

Overall I think the game consaul systems would be a better way to get to a larger target audience. The whole reason to develop the game is to sell it, and if your target audience is larger for the consaul systems then thats what I would go for.

Just my .02.. take it however ya want.

I would also buy a few games. That sounds great. I have only read one of the three pages do you need investors for the idea.

You should add some type of Poker run mode where you gamble against other boats.
