Default Boat Float LLC vs Sunstream Corp Floating Docks

Does anyone have any experience with either of these floating docks. I have had HydroHoist in the past, But was not pleased with the 'Listing' of the hoist. These seem to be an improvement, but are substantially more expensive. Sunstream says that Steve's Gladiator is on one of their lifts. NEED INPUT!!!!!

Jim,

If I wanted to get it wet, I wouldn't be worried about getting a lift to keep it dry!

Good to hear from you. Should be a great Summer, especially since I will be boating again. When is the first run to the Round House? Can't wait to see Jerry doing the LEOPA shuffle on Sunday afternoon to the 'Dawg'.

Come out to Havasu April 23-25, Craig and I will have the boat there for the weekend. After that, it comes home to Mentor. You can all the rides you want, as long as you bring Mary and her famous cocktails (for after the ride).

Has anyone had any experience with BoatFloat LLC?

It seems that many are familiar with Sunstream and are very pleased.

I have talked with many manufactures or their Reps, but have no personal experience with either of these companies. Some companies have Big dollar add-ons, freight & installation can exceed $5,000.00. I don't want any 'suprises' or 'you should have done this' .

If you or your buddie owns one of these, I'd appreciate the info.

I am on a lagoon 20 miles east of Cleveland (Lake Erie), virtually no current or flow. Just miserable cold in the Winter.

Tim G could definately answer your questions pertaining to Sunstream's boatlifts. I would PM him to get the details.
