40 mph 39' cat ???

One of my customers was here and saw my boat ( 39' Express cat ) sitting here . He says to me :

I don't know how you guys do it ! Those things will beat you to death when you get them up and screaming at around 40 -45 MPH !!

My reply was , I don't know . It won't go that slow , but it smooths out pretty good if you cruise at about 90 !

His mouth hit the floor ..........

Some people are sooooo clue less !

Reminds me of the time we took my brother out on our old boat. Now granted, we only had a 28' Powerquest with a single 502, but the $10 he wanted to give me "for gas" might have gotten us out of the marina....
