Default Konrad Drives...

Last night I spent 40 mins with Fred from Konrad , talking about their new drives for the trs set up. Not only did he take the time to tell me about the line that is out, he asked me what i thought. Could you imagine, what i as a customer thought. I wanted to take some time to tell you guys, cause i know, just on oso there is a huge market for these drives. I know Kurt(biggus) is hot on these drives, and so am I. As a bolt on set, and equal to a #3 sm these things are what the doctor ordered. Its just nice, for us being the ones that get screwed all the time, to have a choice. its just going to take a few guys to to take a chance on these drives, to show us all that these drives are for real. if you guys have any questions, give Fred a call. Very nice guy... Mr. Wonderful

i think konrad should let biggus demo a set. i'm sure if someone could workem hard biggus is the man.konrad could get alot of exposure with doing something like that and could prove their product to the OSO brotherhood. my .01

I've been thinking about the Konrad drives as well. Too Old had Doller Offshore rebuild the TRS drives on my boat before I bought it from him, if they weren't fresh I'd definitely be willing to be the guinea pig.

Let's see, the Konrad's are ~$8000 each I think, how much are a pair of rebuilt TRS's with 0 hours worth?

Question Just curious

The $8000 per drive,, does that include everything you need to put it in the water and go?

Roughly how much has to be spent to say install bravos?

I see those drives on small navy boats. The Navy boys don't seem to be tearing them up. They must be built pretty good!!!!

I'm looking forward to running the Konrad 540HP drives this season. It sure will be nice to run the 'ol TG to it's limits without worry of drive failure.

I'm very excited about this drive system. I think they will really get peoples attention.
