As I stated before, Dave P is a stand up guy. I almost bought a new Donzi from them. Went with the Tiger instead.

I passed on this boat a while back but if you're dealing with Dave P then I know he will be honest and fair with you.

NOPE...he owns it CASH. He can sit on it for as long as he likes. The boat has been seriously for sale with this owner since the fall. The ad on boat trader was done without his consent.

I love when people call and offer $50k for a $85k boat

NADA has some good numbers on this boat.

I think his numbers are close for what he's asking. If I was in a position to buy it, I would.

Now that's good logic. Any seller can sit on on a boat for as long as they want, lien or no lien. Either way, the value of the boat only decreases as it sits at an inflated price... Not to mention the loss from opportunity cost. Had the seller sold that boat for $75K early last fall, that money invested in a good mutual fund that follows the stock market would now have a value of over $85K.

I love when people have a $65K boat and think it's worth $85K. A boat is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it. If the boat was truly an $85K boat, it would have sold for $85K shortly after it was listed. This boat has been for sale for a long time.

Wake up sellers.

Wake up sellers.

I called a guy on a boat 1 time and found out where he bought it. I called the dealership. They told me they sold it for x amount of $$ which happened to be about 500 bucks less then he was asking as his BOTTOM LINE price. Oh K

There is a reason why I 'm still seeing the same boats for sale from last spring. TOO MUCH MONEY People.
