I would have gone for a ride but it was too soon. it was an offshore wind of 20-40kts from the west so the east side of LM would be calm. The problem was the temp and I did'nt have my snowmobile suit with me. Moisture reading this week and then off to the races. Litterally I would stay off the lake for some time still, The ice may not be vissible and may be lurking under the surface ready to attack. That ice is usually clear also so there is great danger Will Robinson With the wind shifting from east to west that ice is spread out everywhere. Here is the formula I use. Ice=Damage x 4/ your hull.

Somebody hook me up with the article.. Or at leasat scan it for me.. I am headed out of town till thursday. I would like to see it when i get back, cause I can't find any of the mags around town..
