The TRS drive has a very efficient oil pump and if you wasted the lower, the upper is FULL of shrapnel also. Your best bet is to send it to one of the above. They are familiar with the TRS and they must be set up correctly or it will not last very long.

Just about every part is still available from Merc.

Having just gone through basically the same thing with my Bravo, have the whole thing checked. For the extra expense it's worth not just the piece of mind, but labor wise you're half way there. Would suck to put it back together to have the top end go which would probably take out the new bottom end. My opinion it's worth it.
