When (IF?) my tax refund ever comes, I need a new t.v. My 32 Panasonic has had it's 3rd heart attack and will not be put on life support again. I want a 36" (the largest that will fit in my entertainment center). I really don't need a flat screen, as I don't want to spend that much money. I found a really nice Toshiba (which is rated as a best buy in Consumers Reports) at Best Buy. It's $599 and they are giving a $50 gift card as a sort of rebate. I'd really like to stay under $600 for a t.v.

BUT, are there any websites to go to to do some compartive shopping???

As for the camera, how many megapixals do you really need? I'd like to take pics of boats on the water, friends and family outings, fish (no one ever believes I catch anything since I catch and release exclusively), etc... Oh, and the occasional trip to the Skater plant! LOL!! Any suggestions?d I'd like to stay around the $200 mark.

The little camera looks good. Make sure it will accept AAA or AA batteries, and not a special proprietary battery. You can buy NiMh rechargeable AA and AAA's cheap and they last great. 2 Megapixels works fine for general use. If you plan to blow them all up to 8 x 10's then you need more than 4.
