We need to send letters to this state representative in support of his actions. This Manatee stuff is just getting out of control. Thanks for bringing this to our attention Cash Bar...

Ok... I'm a left coaster... we don't have manatees here... exactly how much area is effected by manatees?... I'll do a search on protected areas... but what are the regulations?... wakeless areas that are rediculously large? No boating zones?.. No construction zones?

There's a lot of people in Lee county that paid big bucks for waterfront property and can't get dock permits due to the manatee activists. Personally, I don't think many manatees have been killed by docks.

Especially since the docks can only go 25mph.
