GEE YOU don't think boat speed had anything to do with the difference in the pictures.

Warpaint, your hull sucks cause it doesn't have aeration, and we have all learned from pictures that if you don't have aeration then you are overpriced and a dog.

LPA, you amuse me.
You think you have arrived at some monumental conclusion about hull design by comparing the "spray pattern" from:

A shot of a lightweight race hull going around 100-110mph.

Versus a Formula running 40mph in a brochure shot?

I'm laughing, and I regret to admit that I'm laughing AT YOU, not with you. Sorry, but I just can't stop.

Buddy, REALLY, you are going just a tad overboard on your observations. No saying it's a bad thing to analyze things - not at all. And it is apparent that you are indeed doing your level best to assemble lots of "raw data". But you don't have enough ammunition to conclude anything yet. Stay calm, the answers will come...

I guess from what I've learned here, all single step hulls are designed wrong - no second step to ride on the aeration.

Bet Active Thunder is gonna be pissed at that naval architect, Harry Schoell, since he designed the hull. And pity poor, ignorant Mike Fiore over at Outer Limits - all these years his 37' has been wrong and he didn't even know it!

Thank God for the internet!!
