If my memory serves me, they had a very bad release of chemicals from a plant explosion and people still feel they were exploited.
On the lighter side "Take a Manatee with you" They worship sacred cows and are available anywhere in Florida.

Linksys(wireless routers) for one has their technical support outsourced to Sri Lanka. The native Sri Lankans are "given" American sounding names to use on the phone and given linguistic training to sound like Americans...

Not good for the American worker...
