A friend pulled up in his Cigarette to our "tie up" spot blasting the "Original Miami Vice Theme" song by Jan Hammer. Even though he wasn't in a Scarab it was pretty classic. That show gave me my first glimpse into the world of powerboating. I've been hooked since!

i'm sure i'm forgetting many others. plus some more recent stuff by korn, godsmack, 3 doors down, deftones... is pretty cool too.

Industrial stuff is good for high speed antics as well and you can't beat "Ministry"...

BTW, excellent thread. When I get down to making CDs and downloading, I always seem to run out of ideas after a couple of songs. Now I've got some fuel for my mix-making urges. :D

I do like the XM radio though.... especially when with several boats. All can tune same station (ie: Crab island on memorial weekend with 500 to 1000 boats in one area.)
