I thought it was a Diesel Application

the #7 drive looks kinda like a #6 and is for diesel applications. there aren't too many around. I saw some on a Fountain sport cruiser at Innovation awhile back.

I'm glad to see I'm not the only one with a warped sense of humor.... :D

I think the #7 drive has 1 vertical shaft, while the #6 has 2 vertical shafts in the lowers.

The #7 is a diesel drive. It has a single vertical shaft with a 6.5 inch bullet and through hub exhaust. The 6a upper is the 7 upper. The rotation was changed in the upper. It looks like a big bravo.
I saw a pair in Dubai once. I think that only 20 were made.

The number #7 is very similar to a SSM #6 except with a larger lower case and bullet. I've only ever seen one pair. They were on a 47 Fountain SC with SeaTek turbo diesels. I think it was 1997. I don't think they made too many. Looked REALLY beefy but would definitely have more drag than a #6 in a performance application.
