Default St Cloud-Shock & Awe!!!!

Where were you??? Was it the cold weather (74)in Florida?? The Fires in the central Florida areas???

I hope someone who stayed longer than I did has a more cheerful scene....

3/25/04 Rossville, GA - - The APBA Offshore Racing Association, in conjunction with their "Come Race In Our Water" campaign, will introduce a number of their newest offshore powerboat race competitor boats to the public during the 16th Annual Florida State Boat Championships at the St. Cloud Spring Fling.

With 16 classes and three separate series of boats, Super, Factory and Outlaw Performance, fans of all ages can expect an outstanding show of power and performance.

In the fastest fleet of the day, Rick Perthelís new Pair-A-Dice Performance Extreme PX-77 is sure to steal the show. This new MTI, packed with over 2700 combine...

================================
The way I see it.....I had better get there by 6am to get my photos of all those mentioned above <quoted from APBA Offshore site)..

HEY!!!! Anyone that has photos after Saturday 1:15pm please post them and make me feel better...

I'll be in the wet pits as they open in the AM Sunday...

By the way ..St Cloud does have one of the most fan friendly wet pits that I have seen..

Marc
More boats will show up today & tonite, so I wouldnt be too disapointed just yet. It may not be the turn out like previous years, but please remember that all this is still the fallout from the previous LLC. Dont blame the racers. We all are entitled to race were we feel the most comfortable and have the most fun for our nickles. Just as the fans can choose were they want to attend.
I was a fan long before I really got involved, so I know just how you feel. Give it some time...things will find there level.

Here was just part of last years parade...(see photo)

Dan...I just was really surprised....I NEVER blame drivers, crews and or families for any short commings that may pop up in the sport. I truely respect the risks they all take for all of the sport.

Parade or no parade I'll still be there in the wet pits and out on the point for the races....tomorrow....

My main concern was hearing the many complaints from other fans (I was wearing my Offshore Only.com shirt that has a larger iron on logo on the back) so I guess I looked like an official)...
