Well, since it's winter in Michigan, time to rekindle this thread and see if anyone has new input. Sit down poker run boat, which do you choose? Or do you go with something different?

Hi.. its d new kid .... at last something i can give my suggestions on ! ! ! What regards a Donzi 38 ! ! i ve seen them running twice in a year......for 2 years in a row ! ! in P1 Chamionship ..mind u running in Evolution class ! ! in very rough conditions ,,, powered by twin 525EFI s , last year they couldnt finish a race due to the failure of Bravo drives...while this year they upgraded to arneson surface drives making use of the conversion that arneson has and managed to finish 3 rd over all in the championship behind the 43 footers by Buzzi..they did not win but coming 3rd behind both Fabio Buzzi 43 footers ..is something for a 38 footer .....they didnt suffer a single Drive failure in 12 races this season from my very limited experience i can say that the 38 ran brilliantly in rough seas ...and looked more easier to handle in rough seas than other boats in its clas./...... i would love to own one of them thats for sure ....its a boat that with less power can compete in P1 championship in the super sport class....i bet it will be battling for first place in every race... yours truly zum.offshore.malta

It raced in the US for a couple of seasons before it came to Europe so most of these guys knows that boat a lot better than we do !

thats rite Mr. Cigaretteman.... infact u can see the photos of the above mentioned boat still on the official Donzi website ! ! ! ....hopefully from this year the Dutch team will b more competitive than this year ..their boat is an Apache 41....which will give a hard time to the Donzi team .....hopefully ! ! ! i love all powerboats from Donzi , Cigarette, Apache and last but not least there is the man to beat in Europe .....Fabio Buzzi........
