I always thought it would be fun to get an old bayliner like that, beef up the stringers and hull, drop in a #3 speedmaster and about 800hp. - but leave the outside stock. Could you imagine the the face on the guy that just bought a gorgeous Fountain as you pass him? (or even better, the faces on his passengers?)

Fightclub...thank you for the lovely recent post...I am trying to reestablish some degree of credibility amongst my more well informed boating online associates....having obviously gone astray initially...I am now on more solid ground! But I must assume responsibility for my misguided way of learning...I would only hope that who ever buys that particular boat does so realizing that with the graphics package and the rest that goes along with that particular Brand....he will be perhaps the only person who will be lamb-basted in a more demonstrative manner than perhaps I have been...at least it will have only cost me $25 for the education...this individual will pay a few bucks more...and Allah help this poor new owner if he shows at a poker run with this vessel....perhaps a suggestion to get more performance out of that boat would be to add steps...maybe by nailing a step-ladder to the bottom...the one thing that has me worried about that boat is the huge amount of dust and dirt on and in the engine bay...most every boat is clean downstairs..it looks like fine particulate dust from sanding or something...take a look at the re-post below...what gives? ...looks like it come out of the Sahara or something..
